A proof-of-concept for a procedural city building built in Unity made over the course of a weekend.

How to play:

  • Use WASD to move the camera, EQ to rotate the camera.
  • Select buildings to build at the bottom of the screen. After a building is placed a new set of buildings to select from will be generated.
  • Press R to rotate building placement.
  • Place buildings near your villagers to expand your village, meet your villagers' needs, and increase your score.
  • Be careful, once a building is placed it cannot be removed!
  • Buildings can only serve and employ nearby villagers.
  • Use the filters: "None," "Food," "Employment (Workers)," "Employment (Workplace)," "Entertainment," and "Religion" to see your villagers' needs

Buildings:

  • Village: houses villagers
  • Farm: provides food and employment
  • Tavern, Colosseum: provides entertainment and employment
  • Garden: provides only entertainment
  • Cathedral: provides employment and religion
  • Roads: allows villagers to access jobs / buildings from further away
